ATV Tour: Salt Mines + Huaypo Lagoon (Half a Day)

Description

We invite you to be part of this incredible experience on 4 wheels, with the departure of a private transport about 50 minutes from Cusco to the CRUZPATA community in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. There after a few minutes of training we will be ready to get dirty!

Itinerary

Day 1

DEPARTURES:

  • Mornings: 7:00 am – 1:00 hrs.
  • Afternoons: 13:00 pm – 18:00 hrs.

We start the tour with a 15-minute practice until the passengers are ready. The guide will ask each passenger if they are ready and have no problem with the quad bike to start the tour, and when the passenger gives us the OK, we will begin the tour with the quad bikes towards the Huaypo Lagoon (we offer this option when passengers do not want to buy the entrance to Moray).

The quad bike ride takes approximately 2 hours, returning to our base. We will continue towards the salt mines (salineras) in the tourist transportation, as safety measures and to avoid accidents in the salt pans, whose descent is a cliff.

During this tour, we will be able to appreciate the snow-capped mountains of Verónica and Chicon, accompanied by a magical landscape in contact with nature and some locals from the area. After finishing the tour, we return to the city of Cusco.
