Horseback Riding: Devil’s Balcony (Half a Day)

DEPARTURES:

• MORNING 9:00 AM TO 13:00 PM
• AFTERNOON 13:00 AM to 16:00 PM

The adventure begins with the pick up from your hotel to then move to the RANCH, approximately 20 minutes away from the city, where we will then meet our horses, and we will receive prior instruction on how to handle the animals correctly without mistreating them.

We will then ride to our first archaeological site, the TEMPLE of the MOON. Then we will go to the CHUSPILLO area, part of the Inca trail to ANTISUYU, Zone “X” and to EL BALCON DEL DIABLO, an important destination due to the size of its rocky blocks of natural limestone formation, establishing a cavern which is crossed by a river.

Further ahead on the road we will reach a small cave which, when eroding, forms a window that, when you stick your head out, shows us the river that crosses the rock as if it were a BALCONY, which was used for celebrations such as RITES TO WATER AND EARTH. At the end of the horseback tour, our mobility will be waiting for us at the RANCH to take us back to the city.
