This approximately 10-hour journey on a comfortable tourist bus with stops and guided visits turns the 390 km trip between two cities into enjoyable entertainment and information, not only allowing you to appreciate a great diversity of landscapes (valley, mountain ranges, and highlands) between altitudes of (3200 to 4400 meters), but also making stops with guided visits (in Spanish and English). The route can be done on any day of the week in both directions. In case the starting point is Cusco (departure at 07:00 hours), the first stop around 08:00 hours is to visit the Baroque church of Andahuaylillas, which stands out for its religious colonial art expressed in the richly detailed and illustrative frescoes, carved paintings, and carvings made by indigenous masters of the time. Around 11:00 am, you arrive at the great and beautiful Inca archaeological complex of Racchi with its immense temple to the creator God Wiracocha. At noon, you arrive in the city of Sicuani to taste a delicious buffet lunch. Around 2:00 pm, you reach the Raya Pass at (4335 meters above sea level), at the watershed between the waters flowing to the Amazon and the Pacific. Here, you can appreciate an impressive high Andean landscape during a stop. Shortly after 3:00 pm, you arrive in Pucara and its interesting Ceremonial Center and Lithic Museum of a pre-Inca culture that existed for 100 years until 300 AD. Finally, around 5:30 pm, you arrive in the city of Puno, located on the shores of Lake Titicaca.
